In 2009, Allegheny Store Fixtures became a woman-owned business entity doing business as “Allegheny Trico.” After an extensive evaluation process, the new entity was officially certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

WBENC is the nation’s leading third-party certifier of woman-owned businesses. It was established in 1997 to foster relationships between woman-owned businesses and corporate America. WBENC offers training and tools to assist corporations in implementing Supplier Diversity programs, best practices, trends in Supplier Diversity, and professional development.
